Can You Represent a Television Station?

WTVP Channel 47 is seeking to add a qualified, professional business person focused on direct contact with potential and existing underwriting sponsors.

WTVP brings the best practices of broadcasters revenue-generating systems to increase public broadcasting underwriting.

Duties:

Responsible for identifying, researching and soliciting prospects for financial support; cultivating immediate and long-term underwriters; securing immediate funding commitments as well as building long-term client relationships; and identifying opportunities for enhanced funding from current clients.

Qualifications:

An experienced, self-motivated, goal-oriented sales/marketing executive with an excellent attitude. The position requires a proven history of successful sales using concept and consultative presentation skills. Media sales experience and an understanding of public broadcastings mission and environment are highly desirable.

Compensation:

A base plus underwriting commissions that are highly competitive for the marketplace.
